Greg W. Golden, CFA, President and Chief Executive Officer

Greg Golden assembled the talent and vision into what has become a rapidly growing and highly successful money management firm. In addition to overseeing the strategic direction of the firm, he also serves as lead portfolio manager for the Enhanced Large Cap and Small Cap Core products. He had most recently worked as Senior Vice President and Head of Structured Products for Bank of America, prior to founding Golden Capital Management. Mr. Golden earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Belmont University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts as well as the CFA Institute.





Jeff C. Moser, CFA, Principal and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Moser co-founded Golden Capital Management in March 1999. He serves as Chief Operating Officer for the firm and Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee. He has been the lead portfolio manager for the Large Cap Core equity strategy since that product’s inception in 1995. Mr. Moser began his career with Bank of America in 1983 with roles in investment management and client service. Mr. Moser is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Mathematics. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1989. Mr. Moser is a member of the CFA Institute, Inc. and the NC CFA Society.






Fred Karimian, Director of Research
Fred Karimian oversees all quantitative research efforts at Golden Capital Management. He joined the firm in March of 2005 with over 15 years of experience in quantitative equity research, optimization, and econometric modeling. Most recently, Fred was the Senior Quantitative Research Analyst at American Express Financial Corporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In that role he developed quantitative stock selection strategies for Blue Chip, and Hedge Fund portfolios, and served as the lead quantitative researcher in the area of statistical, econometric, optimization and research strategies. Prior to that, Mr. Karimian served as Vice President and Senior Quantitative Research Analyst at Banc of America Capital Management in St. Louis, Missouri, where he managed the quantitative equity research team and co-managed the equity research portfolio. In addition, from 1989 – 2001 he served as Vice President and Senior Quantitative Research Analyst and acted as an Associate Manager of Quantitative Equity Research with Banc One Investment Advisors in Columbus, Ohio. There he co-managed market neutral and long/short portfolios, and managed equity index funds and equity index products. Mr. Karimian holds a BS in Finance from Franklin University and MBA from the University of Phoenix in Columbus, Ohio. Fred is a member of the Chicago Quantitative Alliance.


John R. Campbell, CFA, Portfolio Manager
John Campbell is the lead portfolio manager for the All Cap Core, Mid Cap Core, and SMID Cap Core products. He joined the firm in March, 2006 with over 12 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Campbell served as Vice President-Investment Management at Placemark Investments where he was instrumental in the development, testing, and implementation of a quantitative investment process to deliver customized and tax-efficient managed account solutions and served as the lead portfolio manager. Mr. Campbell earned a B.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University where he graduated with honors. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2001 and is a member of the CFA Institute.



Gina B. Carpenter, Quantitative and Business Systems Analyst
Ms. Carpenter joined Golden Capital Management in June 2007. She serves as a Quantitative and Business Systems Analyst for the firm. She recently graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Management Information Systems and Finance. Ms. Carpenter’s previous experience in the Investment field included Database Management support.

Sales and Client Service Team

Jonathan Cangalosi, CIMA, Principal and Managing Director
Jonathan Cangalosi oversees sales and marketing initiatives at Golden Capital Management. These initiatives focus on the institutional and high net worth market segments. With his active role in relationship building, he serves as a lead liaison between the firm and its clients. Mr. Cangalosi's investment career has focused in the retirement services area for firms such as Alliance Capital, Fidelity Investments and Bank of America. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Wake Forest University. He is a member of the Association for Investment Management Sales Executives. Mr. Cangalosi also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation which he earned at The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania through the Investment Management Consulting Association.




Harry H. Nelson II, Relationship Manager, Sales and Client Service
Mr. Nelson joined Golden Capital Management in September 2005.  He manages the distribution relationships between Golden Capital and our managed account partners.  In addition, he leads many of the marketing efforts for the firm.  Mr. Nelson built a strong record of achievement in a variety of leadership roles at both Wachovia Bank’s Institutional Trust business and the Charles Schwab Trust Company, prior to joining the firm. He holds several securities licenses, and earned his B.A. in Political Science from The Citadel.






Thomas H. Mueth, CIMA, Regional Director - Institutional Markets
Mr. Mueth joined Golden Capital Management in December, 2005. He has strong business development and investment consulting experience with such organizations as Victory Capital Management, Nicholas | Applegate Capital Management, and PIMCO Allianz Investments. He earned his B.S. in Marketing from Millikin University. Mr. Mueth holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation which he earned at The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania through the Investment Management Consulting Association and the Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC) designations.





Gregory C. Falzone, CIMA, Regional Director - Portfolio Specialist
Mr. Falzone joined Golden Capital Management in May 2004. From May 2003 to May 2004, he was an Internal Sales Consultant for Bank of America. From December 1998 to May 2003, he held a variety of positions at John Hancock Funds, including Senior Separate Account Specialist within the John Hancock Private Client Group. He earned his B.S. in Management Science from Bridgewater State College. Mr. Falzone also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation which he earned at The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania through the Investment Management Consulting Association.





Robert B. Price, Regional Director - Portfolio Specialist
Mr. Price joined Golden Capital Management, LLC May 1, 2006. From January 2000 to April 2006 he was President of Price Financial Group (PFG). PFG was a financial planning company utilizing insurance, annuities and other vehicles to grow and protect client assets. He earned his B.S. degree in Information Systems Design from Appalachian State University.








Adam B. Stockstill, CIMA, Regional Director - Portfolio Specialist
Mr. Stockstill joined Golden Capital Management in June, 2001. He is involved in our field sales efforts. Mr. Stockstill received a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College in 2001. Mr. Stockstill holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Investment Management Consulting Association.  Mr. Stockstill is currently pursuing a Master of Social Science degree with a concentration in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.




David W. Neal, Jr., Investment Associate
Mr. Neal joined Golden Capital Management in May 2006. He serves an internal sales and marketing support function. He is currently a candidate for Level II of the CFA program. Mr. Neal is a recent graduate of Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Finance.









Cindy P. Honeycutt, Marketing Associate
Mrs. Honeycutt joined Golden Capital Management in January 2005, and has over 18 years of experience within the insurance and investment management industry. Prior to joining Golden, she held various positions with increasing responsibility at The MONY Group and Wall Street Capitol.

Operations and Compliance Team

Lynette W. Alexander, Managing Director
Lynette Alexander has responsibilities over all aspects of portfolio accounting and performance measurement, as well as the firm's financial accounting. Ms. Alexander utilizes her technical background to automate and streamline operations. Prior to joining Golden Capital Management, she spent the previous thirteen years at Bank of America, starting her career as a systems analyst and advancing to Senior Vice President and Manager of Information Services for the investment group. She earned her B.S. in Mathematical Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.






Robert B. Carroll, J.D., General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Carroll joined Golden Capital Management in May 2006. He serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for the firm. In those capacities, he oversees all legal and compliance-related matters for GCM. Immediately prior to joining Golden Capital, Mr. Carroll served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Stephens Investment Management Group. Mr. Carroll’s prior positions include Associate General Counsel at Bank of America Corporation, Senior Special Counsel in the Division of Investment Management at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, and associate attorney at Steptoe & Johnson. Mr. Carroll graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College in 1982 and a J.D. from the Duke University School of Law in 1985. He is a member of the Virginia and District of Columbia bar associations.





Mark W. Cauthen, Head Trader
Mr. Cauthen joined Golden Capital Management in February 2007. He has over 17 years of experience in the investment industry, including 13 years of trading experience. Prior to joining GCM, Mr. Cauthen served at Bank of America for 5 years as Vice President and Senior Equity Trader for the Small and Mid Cap Growth team. In addition, he served 7 years as an Equity Trader at Capital Technology. Mr. Cauthen earned his B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University and is a member of the North Carolina Securities Traders Association.






Lindsey L. Hapworth, Portfolio Trader
Ms. Hapworth joined Golden Capital Management in June 2007. She serves as an Investment Associate for the firm. Ms. Hapworth is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Finance. Prior to coming on board with Golden Capital Management, Ms. Hapworth completed a semester long internship within the field of Finance.








Kelly H. Merck, Portfolio Trader

Mrs. Merck joined Golden Capital Management in April 2005, and has over 18 years of experience within the investment management industry. Prior to joining Golden, she held various positions with increasing responsibility at Interstate Securities and Bank of America.








J. Scott Ross, Portfolio Trader
Mr. Ross joined Golden Capital Management in November 2006. He serves as a Portfolio Trader for the firm. In this capacity, he oversees the management and trading for individual client accounts in some of our managed account programs. Immediately prior to joining GCM, Mr. Ross served in as an Associate Portfolio Manager for Wachovia’s Wealth Management Division. In addition to those responsibilities, he managed the Investment Product Delivery platform. Mr. Ross was an employee of Wachovia, within the Capital Management Division, for thirteen years. He was also a member of the Armed Forces and received an honorable discharge in 1994, after serving a six year term. Mr. Ross graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
