Golden Capital launches 130/30 Equity strategy

Robert Carroll joins Golden Capital Management as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Charlotte - Mr. Carroll comes to Golden Capital Management from Stephens Inc (Little Rock, AR), where he served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Stephens Investment Management Group. Prior to working for Stephens, Mr. Carroll served as Associate General Counsel at Bank of America Corporation (Charlotte, NC), where he headed up the legal team that supported Banc of America Capital Management, the primary investment management group at Bank of America. Mr. Carroll’s prior positions include Vice President, SEI Corporation (Wayne, PA), Senior Special Counsel in the Division of Investment Management at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (Washington, DC), and associate attorney at Steptoe & Johnson (Washington, DC) and McGuire, Woods, Battle & Boothe (McLean, VA).
Mr. Carroll graduated from Dartmouth College (1982) and the Duke University School of Law (1985).

John Campbell Joins Golden Capital As Portfolio Manager

Charlotte - John R. Campbell, CFA, joined Golden Capital Management in March, 2006. He began his investment career at Fidelity Investments where he served in several positions in the brokerage and high-net-worth advisory businesses. Prior to GCM, Mr. Campbell served as Vice President-Investment Management at Placemark Investments, where he joined in the start-up phase and helped grow assets under management from $0 to over $1.75 Billion. While at Placemark, he was instrumental in the development, testing, and implementation of a quantitative investment process to deliver customized and tax-efficient managed account solutions and served as the lead portfolio manager. Mr. Campbell earned a B.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University where he graduated with honors. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2001 and is a member of the CFA Institute.
